NCAA
As of this moment, there is a huge controversy on the financial status of the college players. College student players are trying to get paid for their athletic contribution to their school. Some schools rely on the prowess of their students from the athletic system so the students are trying to take advantage of that. Adrian Peterson, the Vikings star player, has voiced his opinion and has said that the players deserve to get paid. I personally don't think the college players should get paid because it would be too costly to pay the entire player base of the NCAA and also, where would the money come from?

I think it's ridiculous for college players to get paid to play ball! It's one thing for PRO'S to get paid for playing, but for college students athletes i think it's ludicrous! Most college athletes play because they LOVE the sport or on scholarship. Although college athletes are very good and talented, I still feel like until they reach the "Pro" level, they shouldn't be getting paid for playing the sport. I was an athlete my whole life up until i had my daughter and not once did i ever feel like i should have been paid for playing ball. I didn't feel like i was of level to be playing "Professional" ball anyways and i'm sure not all college athletes are. Such a great topic to write about, i had no idea this was happening. But, i too agree with you that they should not be paid.
